Junior Volunteer Program

Trinity Hospital of Augusta is currently accepting applications for our Summer Junior Volunteer Program for young people ages 14-18. The deadline for applications is May 20, 2008 with the Volunteer Screening and Parent Orientation scheduled for May 22, 2008.

       Weight Loss and Bariatric

              Surgery Information

 The Bariatric Surgery Program at Trinity Hospital of Augusta is designed to assist you in achieving your goal of medically supervised weight loss or weight loss surgery.  Our physicians specialize in gastric bypass surgery and gastric band surgeries such as Lap-Band.

 

Information Sessions are held at 5:30pm on the

first Thursday of every month at

Trinity Hospital of Augusta.guta.

(Sister Mary Louise Conference Room, ground floor of the hospital.)

 

 The purpose of this Information Session is to provide you with adequate information regarding weight loss surgeries.  The session consists of:

·    A one hour presentation by one of our        Bariatric surgeons.

·    In depth information and education on different types of Bariatric surgeries, such as Lap-Band and gastric bypass.

·    Guidance on the necessary qualifications for surgery and how to know if you qualify.

·    Introductions to the Trinity Hospital of Augusta Bariatric Team who will be here to provide answers to questions you may have.

·    Explanations of the results you can expect from the various surgeries offered.

Classes will begin promptly at 5:30pm and last

approximately one hour. 

Feel free to bring a family member or friend

along for support. 

Classes are free and no registration is required.

 

You are also invited to attend the Weight Loss and Bariatric Surgery Support Group which is held at 7pm on the first Thursday of each month.
